Who we are
Skillnet Ireland is the national agency responsible for the promotion and facilitation of workforce learning in Ireland. Skillnet Ireland funds over 50 industry representative groups, supporting over 15,000 companies and 50,000 trainees annually.
Established in 1999, Skillnet Ireland is funded from the National Training Fund (NTF) through the Department of Education and Skills (DES).
What we do
Skillnet Ireland funds learning networks that provide subsidised training to companies and employees, and free training to job-seekers, through a number of key programmes:

In addition to the grants awarded by Skillnet Ireland, companies participating in the Skillnet Learning Network also make contributions towards their own training programmes. For further information click here to find our Networks.
