Template Contract Notices have been replaced with eTenders Contract Notice checklist and OJEU (TED) Contract Notice checklist.

June 2018
Design Team Procedures Practice Note 2 has been published.  This Practice Note provides guidance on implications for DoES projects arising from recent changes to the Public Works Contracts, and associated documents, to reflect the impact of Sectoral Employment Orders on the Contracts as detailed in DPER Circular 08/18. (For DoES Invitation to Tenders (ITT-W1, ITT-W2 and ITT-W8), referenced in Practice Note 2, see Tender Documentation tab).  Scroll down to view Practice Note 2.

Practice Note 1 has also been revised to include Appendix 2 - Guide to Tender Process with and without Reserved Specialists.

June 2017
New circulars have been published advising of updated Cost Limits for Post Primary and Primary School Buildings effective from 1st June 2017 (see Cost Limits/Cost Plan Templates below).

February 2017
Revised DTP Practice Note 1 (Revision 2 – February 2017) has been published.  The modifications (highlighted in red text) provide for the inclusion of Reserved Specialists for mechanical and electrical installations on projects over €10m ex VAT in value.

November 2016
A revised and updated DTP Practice Note 1 (Revision 1 – November 2016) has been published. The modifications (highlighted in red text) provide greater flexibility in the implementation of the changes to the Public Works Contract on existing projects.

Some minor amendments have been made to Suitability Assessment Questionnaires and Declarations, to distinguish between QW1 (CF1 version where Reserved Specialists are used and QW1 (CF5 version) which can also be used with CF1 where there are no Reserved Specialists. Some further amendments have been made to Suitability Assessment Questionnaires and Declarations, QW1 (both versions) and QW4, to include the requirement for Professional Indemnity Insurance for Main Contractors and Reserved Specialists.
