The Minister for Education and Skills Jan O’Sullivan, TD, and Minister for Skills, Research and Innovation, Damien English, TD, today launched a public consultation on the development of a new National Skills Strategy.
As part of the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs 2015, the Department of Education and Skills has committed to developing a new National Skills Strategy that will cover the period to 2025.
This consultation process will allow people to have an input into the strategy’s development.
The consultation paper provides an overview of the education and training system, the labour market and business in Ireland and provides a series of questions for people to provide their views on.
Feedback can be submitted until Tuesday, 1st December 2015 via the online form, email or by post.
