06 February, 2015 - Minister O’Sullivan welcomes Teacher Union decision to consider proposals from independent talks chairperson

The Minister for Education and Skills, Jan O’Sullivan, TD, today welcomed the decision by both the TUI and the ASTI to consider proposals on the implementation of junior cycle reform drafted by the independent Chairperson, Dr. Pauric Travers.

“I welcome this positive development. I have already indicated my willingness to consider proposals put forward by Dr. Travers to resolve the current dispute and implement junior cycle reform. I look forward to receiving Dr. Travers proposals.
