“Our teachers on the ground are working to develop new and stimulating ways to enhance teaching and learning using technology. They are awakening in young people an interest in learning and creativity and in so doing, they are inspiring them to use technology and access content in a way that benefits them immeasurably”.

Tomorrow (Friday), students and teachers will be joined in Dublin Castle byworld class leaders in education, technology, enterprise and entertainment.  As well as taking part in various discussion groups and breakout sessions, students and teachers from post primary and higher education institutions will share the stage with guest speakers such as Lord David Puttnam, chair of Atticus Education; Marty Cooper, inventor of the mobile phone;  Sal Khan, Khan academy; Rene Tristan Lidiksen, Managing Director of LEGO Education Europe,  Mike Feerick , Alison.com;  Peter Hamilton, Intel and Sean O’ Sullivan, SOS Ventures and former Dragon from Dragons’ Den to name a few.
