HOME TUITION CLAIMS - REVISED DECEMBER DEADLINES: Due to end of year payroll processes, claims for payment of Home Tuition via the Non-Teaching Staff Payroll operated by this Department must be received in SNTG section  by close of business on 5 December 2018 at the latest, for payment on 27 December 2018.

The Department is pleased to announce that the rates for home tuition payments have increased for all tuition provided from the 01 October 2018. The new rates are:

Fully Qualified Primary Teacher€ 37.67 per hour
Fully Qualified Post Primary Teacher€ 45.28 per hour  
Modified Rate€ 33.69 per hour

Payment of Home Tuition

Home tuition payments are made directly by this Department to the approved tutor acting on behalf of the parent/ legal guardian once a payment claim form is received. Detailed information and all claim forms required are listed below:

Note: Where TUSLA engage a tutor, payment is issued to TUSLA directly
