The National Adult Literacy Agency’s website provides information on everything you need to know about adult literacy in Ireland. If you are a person who would like to improve their reading, writing, numeracy or computer skills, there are lots of options available to you. You can study online by yourself, work with a tutor on the phone or learn in your local ETB adult education centre. Or you can do a combination of these three to suit your lifestyle. On the website you will get information on all these services as well as contact details for all adult literacy services in Ireland. If you are a tutor the website is packed with everything you need to know for tutoring – top tips, teaching videos, reference material as well as hundreds of free downloadable worksheets. For everyone else there is endless information on literacy – keeping you up to date with literacy news at home and abroad.
