Lifeskills Survey 2012
The 2012 Lifeskills Education Survey for Primary and Post-Primary Schools
The Minister for Education and Skills wishes to carry out a second Survey on Lifeskills in Primary and Post-Primary Schools. The information from this survey will provide important information on policy and practice in schools in relation to nutrition, exercise, health, growing up, bullying, and other aspects of the Social Personal and Health Education programme.
We carried out a first survey in 2009. We thank all of you who responded to the 2009 survey and would urge you all to respond to this survey in even greater numbers. Unlike 2009, the responses will be collected online only. This makes recording and analysis of the e-data received from each school more efficient and effective. It ensures that input of the data for analysis is accurate and reflects your responses. When completing the survey, please provide an official e-mail address for the school.
Primary and Post Primary schools are reminded that the deadline for completion of the Lifeskills on-line survey was 1st June 2012.
A letter issued recently to all schools which gave some information regarding the current and previous survey and included details of how to access the current survey online. Please refer to this letter before accessing the survey.
